One minor drawback to AirTouch mask cushions is that they cannot be cleaned as thoroughly as a silicone cushion, and should be replaced after 30 days. The soft memory foam cushion WAS shown to stay clear of excessive bacteria for up to eight weeks without cleaning, however, and you can and should wipe the AirTouch N20 cushion with CPAP mask cleaning wipes every morning to increase longevity.
